It's good to see a number of people who also work in a school setting taking part in the programme. Hopefully all of our blogs will be valuable to others. It's a good way pick up new ideas and see examples of good practise in the workplace.
It seems there's quite a few people who are doing this for the second time round. Determination!
Hello! My first time round on CPD23, so am just beginning to learn the ropes & am very happy to make contact with other secondary school librarians! I'm really hoping to keep up the momentum, but the biggest issue will always be finding time. As a lone worker, I'm not sure how this will work out!
ReplyDeleteAs a sorta-retired high school librarian (the pension checks will arrive in a decade or so), I'm using CPD23 as one way to keep my tech skills up to date. (got bogged-down last year, so trying again!)
ReplyDeleteBeing involved with the International Association of School Librarianship (http://www.iasl-online.org/index.htm) as Treasurer and The GiggleIT Project publicity person, I have to communicate with folks all over the world, and new ways to do so will keep coming along!
I'll be interested to see how you integrate CPD23-learned skills into your school library. Onward!
